Saleem has 2,400kg wheat. The price of wheat is Rs.30kg. Find the Ushr that he will pay.
Given:
Saleem earned = Rs.2,400
Rate of Ushr = 10% (When piece of land irrigated by natural sources like rain, springs, streams, etc.)
Rate of Ushr = 5% (When piece of land irrigated by artificial means of irrigation such as wells, buckets, tube well, etc.)
To Find:
a) Amount of Ushr = ? (at the rate of 10%)
b) Amount of Ushr = ? (at the rate of 5%)
Solution:
a) Amount of Ushr = 5% of Rs. 2,400
Amount of Ushr = `{\frac{5}{100}}\times Rs. 2400`
Amount of Ushr = Rs.120
Thus, the Amount of Ushr is Rs.1,20 that Saleem has to pay as Ushr, when the wheat crop was irrigated by him through natural sources like rain, springs, streams, etc.
b) Amount of Ushr = 10% of Rs. 2,400
Amount of Ushr = `{\frac{10}{100}}\times Rs. 2400 `
Amount of Ushr = Rs.240
Thus, the Amount of Ushr is Rs.240 that Saleem has to pay as Ushr, when the wheat crop was irrigated by him through artificial means of irrigation such as wells, buckets, tube well, etc.
