Sajid paid `\frac{3}{8}` of his salary as a house rent. Find percentage of house rent and of remaining amount. 

Given:

House rent = `\frac{3}{8}` of salary

To Find:

Percentage of house rent  = ?

Percentage of remaining amount =?

Solution:

As given

House rent paid = `\frac{3}{8}` of salary

Percentage of house rent paid = `\frac{3}{8}` ｘ 100%

Percentage of house rent  = 37.5%

Percentage of remaining amount =100% - 37.5% = 62.5%
