Anwar got 85% of the total marks and obtained 765 marks then find the total marks. (Ans. 900)

Given:

Obtained marks = 765 

Percentage of marks obtained = 85%

To Find:

Total Marks = ?

Solution:

As given

85% of Total Marks = 765

`\frac {85}{100}` ( Total Marks ) = 765

or

Total Marks  = `\frac {100}{85}` ｘ 765

Total Marks  = 900 -----------Ans.

Hence total marks of the examination is 900.
