Q. A factory owner gave Rs. 448 870 as reward to his employees in the first year. In the second year 437 995 rupees were given as reward.
a) What is the total amount given in both years?
b) How much less amount was given in the second year? 

Solution: 

a) What is the total amount given in both years?

Thus the total amount given in both years are Rs. 886 865

b) How much less amount was given in the second year? 

Thus the reward in second year was Rs. 10 875 less than  the previous year.
