Divisibility Test for a number (9900) by 6, 8, 9, 10 or 11 (Unit: Factors and Multiples)

Q. Is 9900 divisible by 6, 8, 9, 10 or 11 ? and give a reason.


Solutions: 


9900 is divisible by 6 as it is divisible by both 2 and 3. 

9900 is not divisible by 8 as the last three digits i.e 900 is not divisible by 8.

9900 is divisible by 9 as the sum of its all digits i.e 9+9+0+0 = 18 is divisible by 9.

9900 is divisible by 10 as its ending digit is 0.

9900 is divisible by 11 as difference of its alternate digits (9+0) - (9+0) = 9 - 9 = 

Thus 

9900 is divisible by 6 9, 10 and 11 -----------Ans.
