Divisibility Test for a number (26) by 2, 3, 4 or 5 (Unit: Factors and Multiples)

Q. Is 26 divisible by 2, 3, 4 or 5 ? and give a reason.


Solutions: 


26 is divisible by 2 as its ending digit is 6. 

26 is not divisible by 3 as the sum of its all digits i.e 2+6 = 8 is not divisible by 3.

26 is not divisible by 4 as the two digits i.e 26 is not divisible by 4.

26 is not divisible by 5 as its ending digit is not 0 or 5.

Thus 

26 is divisible by 2 -----------Ans.
