To find area of Rectangular region when its length and width are known (WP-3: Mensuration of Rectangle)

Calculate the area of rectangle whose length and width are 40 m and 35 m.   (Ans. Rs. 1400 m²)

Given Data:

Length of rectangle = 40 m

Width of rectangle = 35 m

To Find:

Area of rectangle = ?

Solution:

We know that 

Area of rectangle = Length ｘ Width

by putting values

Area of rectangle = 40 m  ｘ 35 m 

Area of rectangle = 1400 m² -------------Ans.
