To find area of Rectangular region when its length and width are known (WP-1: Mensuration of Rectangle)

Calculate the area of rectangle having length = 15 m and width = 12 m   (Ans. 180 m²)

Given Data:

Length of rectangle = 15 m

Width of rectangle = 12 m

To Find:

Area of rectangle = ?

Solution:

We know that 

Area of rectangle = Length ｘ Width

by putting values

Area of rectangle = 15 m  ｘ 12 m 

Area of rectangle = 180 m² -------------Ans.
