Comparison of Two Quantities by Percentage (WP-26: Percentage %)

Which is smaller 

10 % of 50 or 25% of 100

{Hint: We will convert both the quantities into parentage and after then we will compare} 

Solution: 

10% of 50 = `\frac {10}{100}`ｘ50 = 5

25% of 100 = `\frac {25}{100}`ｘ100 = 25

As 5  < 25

thus 

10% of 50 is Smaller than 25% of 100
